Counselling
Support. Clarity. Space to Breathe.
Sometimes, life feels overwhelming. You may be carrying emotional pain, going through a significant life change, or simply feeling stuck, anxious, or lost. When things don’t make sense, talking to someone in a safe, confidential space can help you find your way again.
At Redpoint, I offer person-centred counselling — a non-directive, compassionate approach that puts you at the heart of the process.
I strive to make both coaching and counselling as accessible to as many people as possible because I know how much it can be needed and the benefits it can give people.
My counselling rates are flexible.
Person-Centred Counselling
What is Person-Centred Counselling?
Person-centred counselling is based on the belief that we all have the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding — given the right conditions.
That means:
- You lead the conversation.
- I listen without judgement, without giving advice, and without trying to “fix” you.
- Together, we explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your pace, in your way.
This type of counselling can be particularly helpful if:
- You feel unheard, unseen, or misunderstood in other areas of your life.
- You’re trying to make sense of difficult past experiences.
- You’re facing anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, or life transitions.
- You want to reconnect with your sense of self and rebuild confidence.
- Struggling with anger management
How Counselling Works
Counselling is a process — not a quick fix, but a powerful investment in yourself.
At our first meeting, we’ll talk about what’s brought you to counselling and how I can support you. You don’t need to have all the answers — many people come simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right.
Sessions are typically weekly and last 50 minutes. I offer:
- Online counselling via secure video call
- In-person counselling from a comfortable, private location
Everything we discuss is confidential, and you set the pace. Whether you want short-term support or longer-term work, I’ll meet you with warmth, professionalism, and respect.
The Benefits of Counselling
Counselling offers a space that is often unlike anything else in life — no pressure, no expectations, just space for you.
Clients often tell me that counselling has helped them to:
- Understand themselves more deeply
- Feel lighter, calmer, and more in control
- Heal from loss, trauma, or painful life events
- Navigate life transitions with greater confidence
- Rebuild self-worth and improve relationships
- Help manage anger
Sometimes, the most significant breakthroughs come from being heard — without interruption, judgement, or agenda.
